Behavior Consultant
Supervises and evaluates performance of Behavior TechniciansProvides clients with direct (on-site) supervisionReviews and analyzes data and overall progress, provides recommendations, observes program implementation, holds team meetings, and provides ongoing parent trainingCompletes indirect (off-site) work, including writing reports, creating materials, etc.Schedules and attends parent training and team meetings as neededFacilitates generalization of skills by training parents/caretakersMonitors client therapy hours and schedulesCommunicates effectively with parents and staff membersCollaborates proactively with other service providers (e.g. Teachers, SLP, OT)Attends consult meetings with Clinical Director to review case needsTroubleshoots and tends to parent and technician concerns and needsAttends and/or holds admin and/or staff meetingsTravels via personal automobile to client’s home or community outingsLifts up to 50 poundsProvides proof of valid driver license and current auto insurancePasses background/fingerprint clearance through DOJ and FBIProvides/obtains proof of negative TB, and MMR and Varicella vaccinationsCompletes CPR training (provided by the company)
Master's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in applied behavior analysis, psychology, early childhood education/development, or related field
Professional certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Minimum of 2 years of related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities
Demonstrates ability to supervise and train effectively
Demonstrates knowledge of DTT, NET, PRT, PECS, and other ABA methodologies and strategies
Demonstrates good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
Exercises discretion and maintain confidentiality
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, bilingual is a plus
